C Series 5 Axis Wood Processing

The Heavy-Duty and Versatile C-Series CNC Router

Available in 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis configurations, the C-Series CNC router delivers fast feed rates, high material removal rates, installation-ready finishes, and less maintenance over the lifetime of the machine. At high speeds, it can continuously and precisely process dense materials, such as solid wood, advanced polymer plastics, composites, and nonferrous metals.

C Series 5 Axis Wood Processing

The twin table design supports loading of material or unloading of parts on one table without interrupting the cutting process (a.k.a. pendulum processing). The tables can also be locked together for machining large parts.

Key features of the C-Series include:

  • 4′ x 5′ to 6′ x 5′ twin tables (8′ x 5′ to 12′ x 5′ in total)
  • 3-axis: 11″ Z-Stroke (standard) up to 40″
    5-axis: 16″ Z-Stroke (standard) up to 40″
  • 3-axis: standard spindle speed of 18hp with the option of a 24hp spindle or adding a second spindle.
5-axis: standard spindle speed of 12hp with the option of a 24hp spindle or adding a second spindle.
  • Heavy-duty thick steel base, columns and bridge providing the rigidity to absorb the vibrations associated with high throughput and heavy cutting applications while performing precision cutting.
  • Standard 12-pocket rotary automatic tool changer with optional second ATC.
  • Optional Dust Hood

C Series CNC Router with Optional Programmable Dust Hood

It works like any other dust hood during 3-axis operations by suctioning away dust and debris, or it can be programmed to move up and down during 5-axis operations to ensure a cleaner work environment.

  • Comes standard with 2 vacuum zones (4 on larger models).
The better you can hold  the sheet of material in place and the finished cut parts, the faster you can ultimately go.
  • FANUC® latest generation of controls provides:
    • Plenty of speed for high-speed cutting.
    • Plenty of memory for your large programs.
    • Peace of mind when it comes to reliability and longevity.
    • Comes standard with the FANUC interface, C.R. Onsrud’s own user-friendly touch screen HMI, and SeeNC Interface®, making it very simple to learn and operate.
    • Manufactured in America.
  • Designed, fabricated, machined, painted, assembled, and shipped from our factory in Troutman, NC. Tailored to your needs and built to last.
