Double-Sided Spoilboard Flat Table Cups from BVC

In this post, Chuck Shive with Chips & Tips introduces Double-Sided Spoilboard Flat Table Cups from C.R. Onsrud’s partners BVC (Better Vacuum Cups, Inc.) for simple, easy, and effective part holding.

Without removing your spoilboard and plugging holes, these vacuum cups are designed to sit on top of your spoilboard instead of attaching to a grid table. To set up, simply:

  1. Place the pods where you need them, laying them directly onto your spoilboard.
  2. Place your material on top of the pods.
  3. Seal any area of your table that’s not being used.
  4. Turn on your vacuum.

With that, you’re good to start making chips. You can run one or multiple parts. When you’re done, simply shut off the vacuum, remove the pods, and return to your panel work.
