The Onsrud Inverted Router™ has become the standard replacement for the conventional overhead router. An Inverted Router™ is simply more versatile, more accurate, safer and easier to operate. The added flexibility and improved performance alone make the Inverted Router™ the obvious choice for anyone who has ever used one.

Simplicity of set-up and operation reduces the amount of skill and training required of new operators and pattern makers. More efficient dust collection, quietness and ease of operation make work much less tiring when compared with overhead routers. Samples or low volume items can be done more easily and economically. Templates are made right on the machine.

One of the main advantages of a C.N.C Router is that the operator can handle the work-piece once, accomplishing multiple operations with several cutters without ever removing the work from the work holding fixture. When the piece is removed, it is finished.  With the new C.R. ONSRUD "C.M.C. WORK CELL", one operator with two or three spindles, can achieve the same result, in many applications, with a much lower capital investment!  With three machines placed in a "U" shape and one operator in the middle, the operator can perform cuts using three different tools, and up to 9 cutting depths, in one handling, with production machines for about $20,000!  The time saved by not having to handle the work-piece separately for each operation can easily justify the cost of the second two machines. In fact, don't think of it as three machines, but rather a three spindle heavy-duty problem-solver for about one-sixth the price of a reasonable quality CNC router !

Two-spindle operations free one-third of your investment for another job !

When quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness is the bottom line:
